Experts Directory
This is a resource provided by scientists in the School who are willing to offer advice. There are over 250 experts in the Directory covering a wide range of research interests. You can find an expert using keyword searching and send them a query by email when you have checked out their references.
Typical things you might want to look up might be ageing, array, calcium, confocal, crystal, dementia, evolution, imaging, NMR, patch, tissue ie both specific techniques and broad areas of research.
If you try to email someone and find they are no longer there please let us know: we will appreciate your help in keeping this database up-to-date.
It is also worth looking in the more comprehensive directory of researchers, open to the public, ie our research database as this has around 700 people, who are grouped by broad themes. Via the Life Sciences Research Themes web site you will also discover major initiative web sites such as Cambridge Neuroscience, which have their own directories where you can also look up the techniques and equipment in use by researchers. You may also join these virtual communities yourself.
